«Win every match»

Vladan Ivić spoke to Novasports TV ahead of the encounter against AEL Larissa and shared his thoughts on the league resuming. Here is what the Serbian coach said:

31.03.2017

On the encounter against AEL Larissa and the long list of absentees:

«We have quite a few absentees but a big roster as well. There are players who can cover the voids and our team is able to give it 100% and win this match. We only aim to win. It’s our first match after the international break, during which we worked a lot and tried to find solutions for several issues. I believe we will be ready for the games ahead«.

On the fact that PAOK boast wins after the breaks this season:

«I hope we can carry on this… tradition. We will all work towards that aim. We play at home against a side determined to do well. We need to do our part, bring our game out on the pitch, dominate from minute one and win«.

On whether the international break contributed to his team’s rest:

«We took a breather –it was much needed. We played many back-to-back games since early January. We have gone through three quarters of the current season, but the matches ahead are very crucial. We want to finish our league engagements in the best possible way and win the Greek Cup as well. We take it one game at a time. Every match is important and we want to win them all«.

On AEL Larissa and their recent coach change:

«That is not good news for us, as our rivals will be motivated to show that they are better off with the new coaching situation. They will make things harder for us, but we will stay focused«.
