Easter decompression
Before the last and decisive stretch of the season, PAOK players will get the opportunity of a two-day break for Easter.
The “Double-Headed Eagle” trained in Nea Mesimvria on Holy Friday. They worked on their physical condition, speed and explosiveness with various drills, while also going through reduced-space passing games and possession exercises.
Those who started the match against Panathinaikos followed a special 40-minute program and then did recuperation work. José Alberto Cañas remained in the gym for stationary bike, pool and physiotherapy due to the strain he suffered in Leoforos.
Yevhen Shakhov’s X-rays came back clear, however he is still complaining of rib pains and remained in the gym for physiotherapy and recovery work. PAOK players will return to trainings on Monday, at 18:30.
