«Only victories from now on»
José Ángel Crespo spoke to Novasports TV ahead of the Platanias match on Sunday. The Spanish centre back commented on the team’s situation, declared himself convinced that they can do it and spoke about their rival.
On the first-leg defeat in Leoforos for the Greek Cup semi-finals:
«We didn’t give it all we’ve got. We can do much better. We want to win our home game, score more goals and make it to the final«.
On the team’s condition ahead of the league’s final stretch:
«I believe we are ready to play well. We demonstrated that in our latest games, with the exception of the Leoforos one. We need to improve parts of our game, give it 100% and I think we will be ready for the last and very important matches of the season«.
On the 91st anniversary of the “Double-Headed Eagle” and what it means to him:
«It’s very important to win the three next matches as a present for the club’s anniversary. Winning the Platanias encounter is imperative for us. Afterwards, we will remain focused, make it to the Greek Cup final and claim the trophy«.
On Platanias and his own form:
«They are a good team, they fought until the end to make it in the play-offs. It will be a difficult away game, but if we play as we are supposed to, we will get the three points. Regarding my form, I believe I will be ready for Sunday’s encounter«.
