The fans demanded it and the team obliged. After the Greek Cup final in Volos, the Greek Cup trophy made it to the White Tower, escorted by the expedition of the “Double-Headed Eagle”. The celebration of thousands of fans for the triumph of PAOK lasted until morning.
The players, Vladan Ivić, Ivan Savvidis and his son Giorgos climbed on top of the bus and were acclaimed by PAOK fans, while the firecrackers and the landmark of Thessaloniki provided the backdrop for the celebration.
