Fernando Varela’s first season at PAOK came to an end in Toumba Stadium, in the encounter against AEK Athens. The player will undergo surgery and then start preparing for next season.
Fernando Varela had an MRI that revealed a torn external oblique aponeurosis and laxity of the pubic tubercle.
The medical and coaching staff, along with the player, decided for a laparoscopic abdominal repair. He is expected to recover in four weeks.
