Biseswar won the fans over

Goals, spectacular plays, creative input and help in defence. Diego Biseswar did everything last month and, as a result, he prevailed in the 11888 MVP of April poll, organized by paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App.

16.05.2017

April was a fruitful month for the “Double-Headed Eagle”. They recorded five Super League victories and also prevailed over Panathinaikos to advance to the Greek Cup final.

Several players stood out in these seven encounters. One of them was Diego Biseswar. The Dutch attacking midfielder proved a vital cog for his side. He featured as a playmaker and as winger and responded to the challenges every time, thanks to his undeniable football quality.

He scored twice during the month, but his highlight was his performance in the second Greek Cup semi-final leg in Toumba Stadium. In a span of 45 minutes, he set up two goals for his team-mates with pin-point assists. He was also impeccable at the back, contradicting those who tag him as negligent in his defensive duties.

In the poll held by paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App, Biseswar prevailed with 49,95% of the vote and won his second 11888 MVP title, adding to his January accolade. His success becomes all the more important because of the tough competition he had to fend off. Panagiotis Glykos and Yevhen Shakhov took second and third place respectively. They both were outstanding last month, the former with crucial saves and the latter being the barometre in PAOK’s midfield.

The list with all 11888 MVP of PAOK since the start of the season:
