Here is what Vladan Ivić said to Novasports TV ahead of the encounter against Panathinaikos for matchday 2 of the Super League play-offs.
On the play-offs’ opening day and the matches ahead:
«We need to start from scratch, draw our conclusions from the encounter against AEK Athens, remedy our errors –especially the ones committed in the first half hour- and go on. We have five games ahead of us. We are aware it’s an intense schedule after a tiring season, but we are professionals. We have a specific target and we will go after it until the end«.
On the effect this defeat by AEK Athens will have on the team:
«I believe in my players and their potential. I believe that the AEK game will serve as a ‘wake-up call’. We all know we were below par on Sunday. We have to prepare as best as we can for the encounter against Panathinaikos«.
