Preseason stage No 2
The first and extremely tough part of the season is over and PAOK are ready to turn a new page. They can achieve that only through hard work in training and successful results on the pitch.
Răzvan Lucescu is perfectly aware of this and wants to make the most of the international break, in order to fine-tune his team so that they can improve their performances come September. Internationals Róbert Mak, Aleksandar Prijović, Yevhen Shakhov, Gojko Cimirot, Efthymis Koulouris, Panagiotis Deligiannidis and Dimitris Limnios won’t participate in this mini preseason stage.
Those who started the encounter against AOK Kerkyra did decompression and recuperation work on Monday. The rest worked on their ball passing, transition game and physical condition.
Pedro Henrique, Marin Leovac and Fernando Varela followed a special recovery program. The Cape Verde defender will not join the national team, but will remain in Thessaloniki instead.
PAOK players have been given Tuesday off. Intense trainings start on Tuesday, with double sessions on the menu.
