PAOK U19s off to the FIFA Youth Cup
The Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup tournament is dubbed “Stars of the Future”. And rightfully so, as it hosted in the past emerging talents such as Bobby Charlton, Klaus Augenthaler, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham, Pep Guardiola and Gerard Piqué… Greek U19 champions PAOK will participate in the renowned tournament of Zurich on 30 and 31 May.
This is the second international tournament for the U19s in the current season, as they had travelled to the Netherlands in August for the Culemborg Cup, a tournament they won. Seattle Sounders FC, SL Benfica, CA Boca Juniors, Sevilla FC, GNK Dinamo Zagreb, FC Zürich, Grasshopper CZ, FC Basel, FC Blue Stars Zürich are among the teams participating in this year’s FIFA Youth Cup.
PAOK’s group also includes SL Benfica, FC Zürich, Seattle Sounders and FC Basel. Their fixtures are as follows:

PAOK U19 squad consists of: Symeon Papadopoulos, Konstantinos Balomenos, Marios Tsaousis, Dimitrios Theodoridis, Apostolos Diamantis, Ioannis Michailidis, Aventis Aventisian, Dimitrios Tsopouroglou, Theocharis Tsiggaras, Serafim Maniotis, Zisis Chatzistravos, Ioannis Karakoutis, Achilleas Salamouras, Alexandros Gargalatzidis, Antonios Gaitanidis, Georgios Doumtsis, Ioannis Konstantelias, Petros Kaloutsikidis, Panagiotis Panagiotou, Georgios Tzovaras.
The team are accompanied by the whole coaching staff, along with managing director of PAOK Academy Kostas Vourtsis.
