Victory in 45 minutes for the Under-17’s

The Under-17’s were the only youth side in Super League action this weekend and they turned on the style with a seven-goal show.

Up against Panetolikos, Papavasileiou’s and Taxidis’ team needed only 45 minutes of football to complete a resounding 7-0 victory. It was the sixth win in as many games for PAOK, who top the standings in Super League Group B with 18 points.

The scoring started in the 22nd minute for the home side, with Konstantelia threading a ball through for Rumyantschev to make it 1-0. Then three minutes later Rumyantschev turned provider for Koutsias to score and make it 2-0. In the 29th minute it was Konstantelia’s turn to find the net with a fine individual effort.

Rumyantschev scored his second and PAOK’s fourth after 32 minutes, again from an assist by Konstantelia, who then scored again on 39 minutes to make it 5-0.

There was not let up for Panetolikos, who were overwhelmed, and after 41 minutes Koutentakis made it 6-0 from Koutsias‘ pass, before Konstantelia completed his hat-trick from Karakoutis’ assist.
