Men at work…
A recent fixture pile-up comes to an end on Monday (27.01) at the Toumba when PAOK host Volos with the sole aim of collecting another three points.
Far away from the (usual as well as embarrassing) recent divisive and degrading practices, the players and coaching staff worked on Saturday afternoon (25.01) at the club’s New Mesimvria training base, with the focus on the defensive line.
The program began with fitness exercises and continued with some rondo and tactical games aimed at helping the team’s defensive play. At the end, the session was wrapped up with a friendly match.
Leo Jaba has some fluid removed from his injured knee as part of his treatment, and he will resume his individual recovery program. Jose Crespo has a check-up after playing at Lamia, and following an MRI scan it was revealed that a small amount of fluid has gathered in his knee but it has not affected the area where his recent injury was,
The Spaniard will be rested for the match against Volos and his situation will be reassessed in the coming days. Dimitris Giannoulis has followed a recovery program and the coaching staff will wait until the end of Sunday’s (26.01) training session at 11:00 to decide if he will play a part in the game or not.
