Douglas Augusto underwent an MRI scan to evaluate the extent of the injury he suffered to his right knee in Tuesday’s (26.05) training session.
The results of the scan showed that the Brazilian midfielder has suffered a ruptured posterior cruciate ligament. The club’s medical team will decide on the approach to treatment after the swelling and blood pressure have dropped off, in order to evaluate the stability of the player’s knee.
