The squad for the match against Panathinaikos
The fixtures keep coming for the Dikefalos tou Vorra. The next challenge is another derby, this time against Panathinaikos at the Toumba on Matchday 7 of the Super League Play Offs, a match which could hold the key to deciding which team finishes second and earns a ticket into the Champions League qualifiers.
PAOK faces the Greens at the Toumba looking to return to winning ways after losing to AEK and being held to a draw by OFI Crete in Heraklion.
The team’s preparations for the match concluded on Tuesday (07.07) morning with a final training session on the Toumba pitch, which focused on tactics, fitness conditioning and set-pieces.
The good news of the day is that Adelino Vieirinha completed the full session and is included in the squad selected by Abel Ferreira, who is still without Dimitris Pelkas. The midfielder continued hi individual recovery training program, while Jose Crespo and Leo Jaba are still not match-fit. Anderson Esiti is missing through suspension, while injury victims Douglas Augusto and Josip Misic are also sidelined.
