Ever since Theocharis Tsiggaras, born on August 20, 2000, joined PAOK in 2010, he had chosen for many years to commute from Portaria, Halkidiki, where he lived with his family. At some point, of course, he did make the move and settled in the house of the PAOK Academy.

A smart and capable defensive midfielder – he is a player who can help the team as much offensively as he can defensively – and is a well-disciplined and consistent performer both in training and out on the pitch. He was one of the key members of the Under-15 league-winning side of the 2014-15 season, while he also won the league with the Under-17’s in the 2015-16 campaign. He lifted two more consecutive championships with the Under-19 team in 2017-18, and 2018-19, while in parallel he was also an influential member of the Under-19 side which played in the UEFA Youth League in the 2018-19 season.

In the 2019-20 season, Tsggaras won another championship with the Under-19 team. Being a key player in that success, he was then elevated to training with the full senior side and made his full debut during the Play Offs against Aris in Charilaou.
