Murg wins Fans’ Man of the Match award
Thomas Murg came out on top in the vote via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App for the Fans’ Man of the Match for the match against Omonia in the Matchday 1 clash for the UEFA Europa League group stage.
PAOK did not get off to the best of starts in the Europa League group stage, since the opening match against Omonia on home soil ended in a draw, despite the fact that PAOK were on top for long spells.
The main protagonist for the Double-headed Eagle was Thomas Murg. In only his second game for the club – and his first start – the summer signing found the back of the net, and produced an allround superb display.
And in the voting for the Fans’ Man of the Match award, the Austrian received 37,59% of the vote to win the individual title.
