Hitting the training peak of the week
A demanding agenda was the order of the day at Nea Mesimvria on Tuesday (17.11) morning for the players, with the training session devoted to running, an increase in intensity levels, and fitness conditioning work.
The session began with some stretching, which was followed by some running battles through various stations, and in the finale there was a friendly match within restricted spaces.
On the injury front, the news from the treatment room is that Douglas Augusto continued to work on his individual program out on the training pitches. is status is improved, but he will be closely monitored by the coaching team day-by-day in order to decide on a suitable return to action date.
Meanwhile, Omar El Kaddouri received further treatment for his injury and did some work on the exercise bike. He is considered in good shape and will have an MRI scan as a precaution to judge the exact extend of his foot injury.
Dimitris Giannoulis and Enea Mihaj both continued their respective recovery programs.
On Wednesday (18.11) the PAOK squad will be back in at Nea Mesimvria for training at 16:30.
