Ingason: «It’s in our hands»

On this season’s European adventure:

«We started it very well, and were within touching distance of the Champions League group stage. In the Europa League group stage our performances had their ups and downs. We produced some good performances and some okay displays. We have to use these experiences we got from Europe in the league.»

On how much having fewer fixtures may help the team:

«It’s no excuse that we will have fresher legs. We wanted to qualify. We are a big club, and we want to play in all competitions. The cup will start soon, so we will have more games. We’re not happy about being out of Europe.»

On the match against Aris:

«We are ready. We are well prepared for this game; we know what this match means for both ourselves and for Aris. We’re having a good run in the domestic matches, we’re confident, and we know what we have to do to leave there with the three points.»

On the key points that will win the match:

«We have to do exactly what we have been doing in the previous matches – to keep defending well, and to be focused on attacking. If we do both of these things, then because we have a better team, with better players, then the result will depend on us, and not on our opponents. Everything is in our hands.»
