Focus on attacking tactics
While the rest of the country struggles in lockdown, with traffic and ‘click away’ shopping, PAOK is preparing for their first match of the New Year which will be in Larissa. It’s traditionally a tough away assignment. This time the dangers are intensified given that the match comes during the holidays and just after a mini-break.
For these reasons, the Double-headed Eagle’s coaching team is trying to ensure that the players remain alert so that the club can start the the marathon of matches that await in January on a positive note.
On Wednesday (30.12) the emphasis was firmly on attack. After the necessary warm-up and running exercises, work began on the attacking tactics through some possession games and a 10 Vs 10 match.
Enea Mihaj continued his rehabilitation program which includes physiotherapy and work in the swimming pool.
On Thursday (31.12) PAOK will close 2020 with a training session in Nea Mesimvria at 11:00.
