Attention turns to Atromitos

The marathon of January matches did not get off to the ideal start for PAOK, who lost two points along with a host of chances against Larissa. Life goes on, however, and PAOK must focus on the next away match on Thursday (07.01) at Atromitos.

04.01.2021

The day after the match at the Alcazar, the PAOK squad gathered in Nea Mesimvria at the club’s training HQ and got down to work.

Those players who started the match against Larissa followed a recovery and recuperation program in the gym and swimming pool, while the rest of the group executed a high-intensity training session out on the training pitches with a heavy emphasis on passing.

There are no fresh injury problems to report, with Enea Mihaj the only absentee. The Albanian defender continued his treatments including physiotherapy and work in the swimming pool. Ingi Ingason has reached the yellow card limit and in the coming days the club will decide which match he will serve his one-match suspension.

On Tuesday (05.01) PAOK will train again at 16:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
