On the wins over OFI and Larissa:

«I don’t believe that much has changed in terms of our performances. In the match against Volos, with the exception of the fist half, we played well, as well as against Atromitos when for 80 minutes we were the dominant force. Against Olympiacos we were also the dominant side and we should have won. We have built up confidence and this shows out on the pitch, as well as the work we are doing every day in training in order to try and win more matches.»

On the January fixture schedule:

«There are a lot of matches. We have to play, and we knew that we had this challenge in front of us. We can’t avoid it, and so we have to remain concentrated and try to go and win as many of the matches as we can.»

On what he expects from the game against ΑΕΚ:

«It will be a tough game. AEK are a good side. We are at home at the Toumba, and even though there will be no fans, we must dominate and take the three points.»

On what PAOK must do to win:

«We have to play in the same way we have in recent matches. We must create chances, score goals, and also be concentrated at the back. AEK have some dangerous players and we must not allow them to create opportunities. In attack we have quality to to score goals, and so it’s important that we don’t concede.»

On the talks about a new contract and if he wants to stay at PAOK:

«Yes, of course. This is my fourth season here. I feel happy here, as do my family. My contract expires at the end of the season. We are talking with the club and my agent, and I hope we find a solution is found and I continue my career at PAOK.»

On Biseswar’s move to Cyprus:

«He is a very good player, he contributed so much to PAOK and we’ll miss him. He is an experienced player who gave a lot on the pitch and in the dressing room. He is on loan but maybe he will be back with us again in the summer.»

On Giannoulis and his move to Norwich:

«He deserves everything he has achieved. He is an amazing player, and an amazing guy. Logically next season he will play in the Premier League. He has a lot of years ahead of him to do even more great things. We will miss him in matches, as he was the best left back in the league.»

On the positive atmosphere in the dressing room and how much he enjoys everyday life at the club:

«These are OUR dressing rooms. We have an amazing atmosphere, we enjoy it, we have fun and we enjoy every training session.»
