Tsingaras: «We must be strong to get an away win»
Haris Tsingaras shared his thoughts and insights on the upcoming Super League Interwetten Matchday 24 clash against Asteras in Tripolis.
On his personal performances:
«I do not think about being a regular starter. I just keep trying every day, because each day is a new challenge. I try to improve and try to help the team to win.»
On what is more important between scoring goals and keeping a clean sheet:
«Both are very important for us; lately we are managing to keep things solid at the back and don’t concede goals, while we also create many chances.»
On what has changed to hekp the team have a run of games with clean sheets:
«I think it’s a team thing. It starts with the striker, and goals right back to the goalkeeper. We all try to defend well and to make sure we keep a clean sheet.»
On the game with Asteras Tripolis:
«It will be a difficult game, filled with lots of one-on-one duels all over the pitch. We have to be well prepared and strong in order to get the away win we want.»
On what PAOK need to be cautious of:
«We have to be strong in our aerial duels, and make sure we are first to the second ball. And of course we know that we have to score if we want to win.»
On this season so far:
«It has been a very enjoyable one but also very difficult. But I have improved and I continue to improve. I try to improve my strength and I strive for more.»
On his next goals:
«The next goals are collective, the championship and a cup win with PAOK.»
