Sznaucer:: «Solid, compact and focused»

On the game against Aris:
«In the last match with Aris we had a problem on the pitch in the first half. We were worried about how the team were playing, but we had a few days to work and do whatever it took to fix it. We did this this week. Tomorrow is a new day and we want to be optimistic that we will do better. We believe that the team is well-prepared for this derby, this special game. We are going to win it, that is all we have in our mind.»
On whether the team has gotten over the disappointment of the previous match:
«As I said, we did look look good at all in the first half with Aris, it posed us a few problems.. It was a match which we really wanted to win. This pressure in our minds had the effect of us not managing to play the way we wanted to. We had anxiety and pressure to win. After going 2-0 down, then the team changed the way it was playing. We pushed a lot, we were somehow more free. We had nothing to lose and so we fought until the end. We equalized, but we wanted the victory. Now it is time to focus on another match.»
On the match against Panathinaikos:
«Against Panathinaikos we want to play even better than we did in the second half with Aris. We know what our team can offer on the pitch. We know what we can get from each player. And so, this weekend we are expecting the best from everyone.»
On whether there are problems with any of the players:
«There are no problems to worry about. We are going for the best possible performance and result. We are expecting a strong Panathinaikos side, although they are currently in a difficult situation. They have lost a few games and were eliminated from the Greek Cup. Nevertheless it is a derby and we are expecting a tough match.»
On how the Double-headed Eagle need to play to win the match:
«We have to be solid, compact and focused. There is pressure on us to get the right result and we have to show our quality out on the pitch.»
On whether the derby is a dress rehearsal for the Play Offs:
«This match is a general rehearsal for the Play Offs. And so was the game against Aris. We will have a lot of these kinds of derby matches during the Play Offs. Therefore, it is an extra incentive for us to get the victory against Panathinaikos. If we get it, it will give us the strength and confidence for the next matches in the Play Offs .»
