On what was lacking in PAOK’s display thar prevented them taking three points in Tripoli:

«In the first twenty minutes the game was balanced. We had some opportunities, and we took advantage of one of them and got ourselves in front. At 1-0 we were comfortable and looked to try and score another goal, but in football when you do not score, the other team usually scores from a mistake or slice of good fortune. We then had chances to get a winning goal but did not manage to take advantage of amny of them to get the win we wanted.»

On whether he believes that the small differences in points between the teams fighting for Europe will remain this way until the final matches of the season:

«It seems that in the Play Offs most of the teams are at the same level. The one with the most quality will be able to get the points needed. We have to look to take second place so that we can be in a better and more favorable position in the draws for Europe.»

On how crucial the game with Olympiacos is:

«It is very important for many reasons. It will motivate us for the rest of the games we have first and foremost. At the Toumba it is difficult for anyone to beat us; against Olympiacos in the regular season we drew 1-1 after producing a very good performace. We have to win though to be in a more advantageous position in the Play Offs.»

On what PAOK need to do to get the result they want:

«We have to be focused on both attack and defense for the entire 90 minutes. The game will be decided by whoever makes mistakes, and Olympiacos are a team that are unforgiving when it comes to mistakes. And so for this reason we need to try to control the tempo of the game by controling the possession and get to keep the play closer to their goal.»
