On how the week’s preparation went:

«We had a sense of quiet and calmness, but a lot of work; we know which games lie ahead of us from now on. There are a lot of games in the Play Offs and in the cup. We have worked on a lot of various aspects of our game that we had time for, and we are happy with this week and the way it went.»

On the battle for the Play Offs:

«Yes, there are four teams and we are all very close. Much will be decided in the next few games as there is a series of tough matches. All of them are important games for all of the teams involved. Everyone knows the importance of the matches ahead. We will do everything we can to finish as high as possible in the table.»

On August and how much has changed since then:

«The truth is that we are very happy with our performances in the last few games. They have given us a lot of strength. We had some issues this season, but all of the players have had their ups and downs in their performances. Douglas had a difficult period and was not in the best condition, but in the last few matches his performances have stepped up a notch and he is very important for us.»

On whether the earlier match in the regular season against Olympiacos at the Toumba is a guide to how Sunday’s match will play out:

«Yes, in that game we were very good, except for the first 15 minutes. We played well overall and we deserved to win, even though we did not manage it. The effort of the players was huge and I think that kind of display gives us strength to produce something even better in this game and get the victory.»

On whether there are any problems with players:

«Kagawa is out, he is injured. Ninua is the same and so is Pereira.»

On whether he expects Olympiacos to be motivated:

«Yes they will be motivated. PAOK-Olympiacos is always something special, it’s a special game. They will come in a good mood, but for us nothing changes, we always have to fight, we expect to produce a good performance and win.»
