PAOK defeated Aris at the Toumba, moved five points clear in the battle for second place, and is now just two matches away from concluding the club’s work in the 2020/21 Super League Interwetten.
The next challenge ahead for the Double-headed Eagle is the game against Olympiacos at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium. The players and coaching staff gathered in Nea Mesimvria on Monday (10.05) morning to continue their preparations for that upcoming derby clash.
Tghose players who dstarted the match against Aris followed a light recovery and rehabilitation training program in the gym and swimming pool. The rest of the group went out onto the practie pitches to execute a high-intensity training session including running exercises, passing game, and rondo, as well as a mini friendly match.
Jose Crespo trained normally with the squad, while Shinji Kagawa completed the majority of the session also with the main group. Omar El Kaddouri trained individually outside, while Ingi Ingason continued his special training program.
On Tuesday (11.05), PAOK will train at 11:00 at the Toumba before departing for Athens in the evening.
