Training and the squad for the Netherlands
The last pre-season training session on Greek soil took place on Sunday before the Double-headed Eagle depart for Apeldoorn in the Netherlands on MOnday morning (12.07) for the next stage of the club’s preparations for the 2021-22 season kick off.
Sunday (11.07) morning’s training session was dedicated mainly to ball movement and possession, which was worked on through various exercises and games.
Adelino Vieirinha had a scheduled rest day, while Shinji Kagawa and Adrian Pereira executed a special program as a way of winding down from the busy and demanding training schedule of the previous days.
After the end of the training, the squad of players who will travel to the Netherlands was announced. In detail, the following 30-man squad of players was selected:
