Ready for the season premiere
After just over a month of hard work and pre-season preparations, it’s time for PAOK to contest their first competitive match and just as Razvan Lucescu stated, the season starts with a ‘cup final’ of a game.
PAOK has been in Dublin from Sunday (01.08) evening preparing for the first leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League against Bohemians.
A game that, as everyone in the Double-headed Eagle camp is at pains to point out, requires absolute concentration and seriousness from everyone in the squad in order to take the first step towards qualifying.
On Monday (02.08) evening, PAOK trained at the Aviva Stadium, the ground Bohemians uses as their headquarters in European games, and got a taste of the stadium where they will play tomorrow night.
The training program included work in the area of ball movement and build-up play, while special attention was also paid to set-pieces and static phases.
