The week kicks off with tactics
The countdown to the upcoming match against Rijeka at the Toumba continues. The coaching team analyzed the games against Bohemians and the goal is to correct the errors from those matches, while building on the things that the team did right over the course of that tie.
Monday (16.08) was tactics day. After the uual warm-up, Razvan Lucescu took center stage to take his players through some pointers on the tactics he wants to see deployed in the upcoming matches.
More specifically, the main part of the program was focused on build-up play from the defensive zones, and automation, while the final part was centered on putting all of the instructions into practice in a mini-match.
Andelino Vieirinha resumed full training with the main group after his scheduled rest, while Ingi Ingason continued his individual training program.
On Tuesday (17.08) PAOK will train at 09:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
