Focus on tactics
Two days ahead of the first leg clash against Rijeka at the Toumba, the PAOK squad are working on the final details of their preparations.
The major part of Tueday’s (17.08) training session was dedicated to tactics. More specifically, the emphasis was placed on ball movement and build-up play, while there was also time reserved for work on static and set-piece phases of play.
Ingi Ingason continued his individual rehabilitation program.
On Wednesday (18.08) PAOK will train at 09:00 in Nea Mesimvria, which will be open for the first 15 minutes to accredited media representatives, who will be able to gain entry to PAOK’s training center by showing a vaccine or Covid-19 treatment certificate, or a PCR Test done within 48 hours, or a Rapid Test done within 24 hours. At 12:45 Razvan Lucescu and a representative of the players will give the standard pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with Rijeka.
The Croatian team will train at 19:30 at the Toumba Stadium, while their pre-match press conference is scheduled for 19:00 exclusively for accredited media representatives.
