On whether the victory in Gibraltar has helped PAOK to put the pressure created by the defeat with PAS Giannina behind them:

«It is always important after a negative result to have a victory in such a game. It is something that helps you make a ‘restart’ and return with the psychology you need. It was very important for us, because the result against PAS Giannina is one we certainly did not expect. So, this victory helps us to come back stronger and from now on to have a more balanced picture for the next games.»

On PAOK’s tough fixture schedule with three consecutive away games and how difficult it is to manmage the squad:

«The truth is that it is difficult because it is not just three consecutive trips but they are also long trips. But having said that, we are not looking to find excuses, we are professional footballers, we live for these situations.

I think we have the quality in our squad to be able to handle all the games so that the team appears fresh on the pitch each time, and I think that the whole team handles it very well, in order for us to have the freshness and the changes that are needed. I repeat that it is our job; it may be difficult, but we are obliged to do it because we are PAOK and we have to go to every stadium to get the victory.»

On what he expects from the game against Asteras Tripolis and what PAOK must do or change to get the result they want:

«I think the most important thing we have to have is the desiere to win. We know very well the stadium we are called upon to play, we know the particularities and the team we face. We know that PAOK and all teams in general always face problems in Tripoli. It will be a battle and a very tough game, the coach has already told us plenty to that effect.

We know the peculiarities of such a match, especially those of us who have been in the team for two or three years and have played several times at this ground. We must have the desire to get the positive result. From there, we must definitely correct the mistakes from the previous game and put the performance behind us in general. We will go there to play how we know we can.»

On his return from injury:

«I feel good. Like you said I’m coming back from an injury and I’m done with my recovery. It ‘s definitely not nice to be out and miss games because of injuries but that’s life and that’s football. You have to be prepared for that, but now I’m back and I feel pretty good.»
