PAOK lost two points from a game that for most of the match seemed to be there’s for the taking, but the players do not have time to dwell on it, as the matches are coming thick and fast. On Thursday (21.10) the Double-headed Eagle face a very important game in their quest for a good run in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Copenhagen in Denmark. Everyone connected to the team, therefore, have now turned their collective gaze there.

Preparations for the upcoming game in Scandinavia started on Monday morning (18.10) in Nea Mesimvria. The players who were in the starting XI on Sunday remained in the gym for rehabilitation therapy and training. The rest of the group went out onto the practice pitches for a high intensity training session that included work on ball movement and one-on-one situations.

Sidcley trained normally with the team, while Crespo did an individual workout out on the training pitches.

On Tuesday (19.10), PAOK will train at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria and in the afternoon will leave for Copenhagen.
