The squad for Larissa
The only antidote to rectify any difficult period in football are the next matches ahead that give you the opportunity to turn the situation around. PAOK must leave what happened in the match with Aris behind them and look forward to correct their mistakes.
On Tuesday (30.11) PAOK trained in Nea Mesimvria with the program dedicated to the tactical approach of the upcoming match both in terms of working on breaking up opposition attacks as well as the team’s creative, build-up play.
Due to his ongoing ankle issue Andre Vieirinha continued an individual training program, as did Jose Angel Crespo, who is still nursing a thigh problem from the match with Slovan. Douglas Augusto has returned to full training but is not yet fullt match-fit and so will not play a part against Larissa.
A fresh injury worry for the team is Alexandru Mitrita, who felt some discomfort in his right groin after the game with Aris. The Romanian underwent an MRI scan, which did not show up anything untoward, however the player will follow a conservative strengthening program for the groin and will be re-evaluated over the coming days.
Razvan Lucescu has selected the following players:
Zivkovic, Talichmanidis, Taylor, Lyratzis, Ingason, Mihaj, Michailidis, Sidcley, Tsingaras, Esiti, Kurtic, Schwab, El Kaddouri, Konstantelias, Biseswar, Murg, A. Zivkovic, Akpom, Swiderski, Koutsias.
