A high intensity training session
PAOK’s training rhythmns reached their peak on Thursday (06.10) in Nea Mesimvria with the program focusing both on the tactical approach of the upcoming match against Levadeiakos, and on the physical fitness of the players.
The training session started with the customary warm-ups and possession games. The players were then divided into groups. While one group worked on the tactical aspects with the coach, the other group did some running through an obstacle course, and then the roles were reversed. In the last part of the program, a friendly clash was played between the two groups at a high tempo.
Brandon Thomas did some physiotherapy and a gym program. Giannis Michailidis, Konstantinos Koulierakis and Nelson Oliveira all trained individually on the practice pitches, with the former also doing part of the program with the rest of the squad.
PAOK will train again at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria on Friday (07.10).
