- Since 1959-60 when the Greek top flight was established, the two clubs have met 67 times with the Piraeus outfit as home team, and there have been 47 victories for the Red and Whites, 11 for the Double-headed Eagle, and nine games have ended in draws.
- The last meeting between the two teams was on May 14, 2022 in the Super League Play Offs, with PAOK earning a 1-1 draw (41′ João Carvalho – 2′ Filipe Soares).
- In their last 10 visits to Olympiacos home ground, PAOK have won twice, drawn twice and been defeated six times.
- On July 12, 2020, PAOK prevailed 1-0 thanks to a goal from Enea Mihaj which deprived Olympiacos of winning the league unbeaten, since before then no other opponent in the Super League had managed to beat them all season.
- PAOK, in their first ever visit to Olympiacos in the history of the old Alpha Ethniki championship, came away with the victory thanks to goals from Symeonidis (38′), and Havanidis (42′), while the home team had previously taken the lead with a goal from Polychroniou (31′).
- In fact, PAOK were not defeated in their first three league matches in Pireaus, since in their second visit to the Karaiskakis they drew 1-1 (49′ Yfantis – 89′ Vassiliadis).
- PAOK’s biggest victory at Olympiacos was on January 4, 1976 with a 4-0 scoreline, with goals from Terzanidis (24′), Koudas (56′, 63′) and Guerino (78′) marked the triumph in a year when the Double-headed Eagle were crowned champions.
- On February 23, 2003, Pantelis Kafes found the net three times in PAOK’s 4-3 defeat in Rizoupoli, and he is the only player ever to have scored a hat-trick in an away game against Olympiacos.
- Olympiacos went 17 matches unbeaten in trhe league at the renovated Karaiskakis (15 wins – 2 draws) until PAOK’s second visit there on October 16, 2005. On that day, with two goals from Pantelis Konstantinidis , PAOK responded to the Yaya Toure’s free-kick to take the victory and at the same time break the Red and Whites’ unbeaten streak at home.
- Giorgos Koudas is the player who has scored a total of three goals in away matches with Olympiacos and has four more in matches with PAOK as the home side. Overall, at both grounds, he is at the top of thescoring charts, together with Afentoulidis and Skartados, while Sarafis has six goals against the men from Piraeus.
