Sunday, however, is now in the past. Just like the match with OFI. Now, PAOK have a completely different challenge ahead that requires careful management, a clear head and physical freshness. After all, the conquest of the Greek Cup is one of the Double-headed Eagle’s goals this season, and in order to achieve it, the obstacle that is AEK must first be overcome.

And so on Monday (17.01), PAOK returned to training in Nea Mesimvria and began their fast-track preparations for Wednesday’s (19.01) first leg clash of the quarter-final tie at the Toumba. The players who played in the starting XI against OFI followed a special recovery program. The rest of the group worked on ball movement, tactics and finishing.

Antonio Colak remained in the gym due to some discomfort in his adbominal area, while Omar El Kaddouri and Nelson Oliveira continued their individual training programs.

On Tuesday (18.01), PAOK will train at 18:00 at the Toumba Stadium.
