The marathon continues…
The series of matches goes on. PAOK will now briefly leave the matter of the Greek Cup to one side as the team set their sights on their next opponents in the Super League Interwetten, Volos at the Panthessaliko Stadium.
The Double-headed Eagle are eager to continue their winning streak in the league against a tough opponent away from home. The preparations for the match began in earnest on Thursday (20.01) morning at the club’s training base.
Those who were in the starting line-up against AEK carried out a recovery and rehabilitation training program out on the pitch, in the swimming pool and in the gym.
The rest of the group stayed out on the practice pitches, and after warming up, played some possession games, while they also worked on tactics with Razvan Lucescu placing emphasis on the defensive aspects of their gameplan. Finally, in the finale of the session to wrap things up the players played out a mini-friendly match.
Antonio Colak, Omar El Kaddouri and Nelson Oliveira are the three players whose names remain on the injured list.
On Friday (21.01) PAOK will train at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
