Into the final stretch for Belgium
Two days before the upcoming contest in Belgium, PAOK continues the club’s preparations for Gent for a match which will decide who progresses to the last eight of the 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
Players and coaching staff were hard at work on Tuesday (15.03) morning in Nea Mesimvria ahead of the big match at the Ghelmaco Arena.
The exercise program included some warm-up drills and rondo, and was then followed by a tactics session, while there was also work done on finishing skills as well as a mini-friendly clash in the finale.
Alexandros Paschalakis trained normally with the group, as did Nelson Oliveria, with the club’s injury list now including only Giannis Michailidis, who began some treatments.
On Wednesday (16.03) PAOK will train at 10:30 at the Toumba, with the training session being open to media representatives for the first 15 minutes. At 13:00 in the Toumba press room there will be the usual pre-match news conference including the Double-headed Eagle coach and a player, while the squad will then depart in the afternoon for Belgiun from the Macedonia Airport.
