Training and departure for Athens
The victory in Gent and the club’s historic qualification to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League is alreayd in the past, and Europe takes a backseat as PAOK wrapped up their preparations for the Matchday 2 derby clash with AEK at the OAKA in the Play Offs of the 2021-22 Super League Interwetten.
The PAOK squad trained at midday on Saturday (19.03) at the Toumba. The program was dedicated to the tactical approach to the upcoming derby match, with emphasis on ball movement, while there was also work done on set pieces.
Jose Crespo will have an MRI scan to establish the extent of is injury picked up in the midweek European win in Beligum, while knee injury victim Giannis MIchailidis also remain sidelined.
The squad departed for Athens from the Makedonia Airport immediately after training.
