Focus on the second leg
The first-leg clash at the Toumba did not yield a winning result for either side. Neither side were willing to take many risks and so the tie will be decided in the second leg at the “Georgios Karaiskakis”. The Double-headed Eagle players and coaching staff began their preparations for the return match against the Red and Whites on Saturday.
Those players who started the first leg of the semi-final against Olympiacos followed a special wind-down program, while the rest of the squad worked on possession and ball movement through various exercises within limited spaces and rondo.
Leo Jaba suffered a shoulder injury and began treatment. He is estimated to be sidelined for at least three weeks. Omar El Kaddouri followed an individual training program on the practice pitches, while Giannis Michailidis continued his rehabilitation program.
On Easter Sunday (24.04) PAOK will train at 10:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
