Soares wins Fans’ Man of the Match award
Filipe Soares came out on top in the paokfc.gr and PAOK FC Official App Fans’ Man of the Match vote for the Super League Interwetten Play Offs Matchday 10 clash against Olympiacos at the “Georgios Karaiskakis”.
The Double-headed Eagle made a strong start, went in front, and dominated most of the match. Am equalizer conceded late in the first half, however, deprived PAOK of the three points.
Filipe Soares was the top performer in the match. As well has scoring his first goal for the club, the Portuguese midfielder produced an excellent all-round performance in attack.
In the vote for the Fans’ Man of the Match, Soares collected 35.99% of the votes to win the award.
Alexandros Paschalakis was in second place with another impressive display, while young left-back Marios Tsaousis completed the podium with an assured display on his senior debut.
