A great Sunday for the PAOK Academy
A memorable weekend for the “babies” of the PAOK Academy in Germany. The age groups from Under-9, Under-10 and Under-11 levels took part in the Pfingst Cup, winning matches, enjoying experiences, and savoring moments that they will remember for a lifetime.
The Under-11s achieved fifth place in the Pfingst Cup in Düsseldorf, in which 120 teams participated, and which was won by Bayer Leverkusen, the only team against which our little ones lost.
The Under-10s were equally impressive in Düsseldorf, also winning fifth place among 120 teams. They lost in the quarter-finals to Borussia Mechengladbach and beat Augsburg on penalties in the match which decided 5th and 6th.
The Under-9s finished 15th among the 80 teams of the Pfingst Cup, this time in Cologne. They progressed through the first of two group stages (losing only to Bayer Leverkusen), before they were eliminated on penalties by Ajax.
