Operation comeback
The challenges for PAOK have begun started early this season – from the very first match no less. The bad start, a quick goal and then another for the 2-0 final score are of course significant for the Double-headed Eagle squad, who has no choice but to react accordingly.
After all, nothing is over just yet. The second leg at the Toumba offers the possibility of a turnaround and everyone at the club is determined to fight with all their might in order to do just that and claim a the ticket for the next phase.
Before the start of training, Razvan Lucescu and Jose Boto spoke to the players ahead of the match against Levski, passing on their own messages.
The players were then divided into two groups. Those who started in the original starting XI in Bulgaria did some recuperation and rehabilitation training, while the rest worked on the tactical aspects through drills and a mini-friendly within a limited space.
Nelson Oliveira and Lefteris Lyratzis followed an individual program on the training pitches, while Omar El Kaddouri underwent treatment, as did Andre Vieirinha. Finally, Giannis Michailidis continued his rehabilitation program.
On Sunday (24.07) the team will train at 09:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
