Back to work
Without PAOK’s international players, but with batteries recharged and in high spirits, the rest of the squad returned to training with the coaching staff on Thursday and got to work in view of the Super League restart.
The technical staff aim to take advantage of the break in order to work with the rest of the players, and for PAOK to appear ready for the upcoming Toumba derby against Panathinaikos and the rest of the demanding fixtures coming in the championship.
Thursday’s (22.09) training session started with some warm-up and physical fitness exercises, followed by a possession game. In the second part of the session, the players were divided into groups and worked on some finishing drills which invoved combination play, while in the finale the players played out a mini-friendly clash.
Adelino Vieirinha followed an individual program due to the blow he received in the game against OFI in Crete, while Giannis Michailidis also worked individually, continuing his rehabilitation program.
On Friday (23.09) PAOK will train at 10:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
