Squad for the Greek Cup clash with Kalamata
It’s time for the Double-headed Eagle to lock up qualification to the Greek Cup quarter-finals. PAOK welcome Kalamata to the Toumba for the second leg of their Round of 16 tie with a two-goal advantage to defend.
In the team’s last training session before the match, the players worked on tactics and set-pieces. Having won the away leg 2-0, PAOK will expect to see off their opponents on home turf.
PAOK are without five players against Kalamata. Nicolas Quagliata took a knock to the knee in training and is expected to be out of training for around two weeks due to the injury.
Thomas Murg’s MRI showed that he has suffered a slight groin strain, and the Austrian is expected to be sidelined for between 3-4 weeks.
Marios Tsaousis has began to do some running on grass, Omar El Kaddouri received some treatment and did a training program in the swimming pool, while Jasmin Kurtic continued his special rehab program.
