The squad for the second leg in Athens
It’s qualifying time for the Double-headed Eagle, who are preparing to travel to Athens to complete the trilogy of games against Panathinaikos, with a ticket to the semi-finals of the Greek Cup at stake. The team’s preparations were completed at midday on Wednesday (25.01) with a final training session at the Toumba Stadium.
The program included work on tactics, while there were also some special exercises for set pieces, in order for the players to be completely ready for the upcoming… «final».
Felipe Soares trained normally and is at Razvan Lucescu’s disposal, unlike Omar El Kaddouri, Mario Tsaousis and Nicolas Quagliata, who all worked individually, Thomas Murg, who did some running work on the training pitch and Lefteris Lyratzis and Jasmin Kurtic who continued their respective injury recovery programs.
