Working towards Lamia challenge
It’s Greek Cup semi-final week for the Double-headed Eagle. On Monday (27.02), Razvan Lucescu’s team started their preparations for the away leg of their tie against Lamia on Wednesday (01.03, 18:00).
The players who were in the starting lineup in the game against PAS Ioannina followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitches and in the swimming pool. The rest of the group, after completing the customary warm-up and some possession games, worked on the tactical aspects, while in the final part of the session there was a friendly match played.
Nelson Oliveira underwent an MRI which showed he has a swelling in his thigh, something which is expected to keep him out of training for a few days. The forward did some physiotherapy and a gym workout.
Lefteris Lyratzis and Andre Vieirinha did individual work out on the training pitches, Nicolas Quagliata did some running, while Jasmin Kurtic stayed in the gym and the swimming pool.
On Tuesday (28.02) PAOK will train again at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria before leaving for Lamia in the afternoon.
