Work on defence and attack
The Double-headed Eagle players returned to Nea Mesimvria after a day off on Tuesday (27.06), and worked on tactical aspects related to both defending and attacking play.
The training program started with a warm-up, some passing game exercises, and was followed by a possession and circulation game with two teams and some «joker» players trying to win possession. The players were then divided into defenders and forwards and worked separately with the coaches. The former dealt with positional play and the latter with the creation of chances and finishing drills.
In the final part of the session, a three-team transition game was played with specific tactical instructions given by Razvan Lucescu.
On Thursday (29.06) the team has a double training session day in Nea Mesimvria.
