Emphasis on tactics
Two days before the return leg with Dinamo Zagreb at Toumba Stadium, the PAOK squad are working hard on the team’s plan that they hope will bring about an upset and secure qualification to the quarter-finals of the 2023-24 UEFA Europa Conference League.
Tuesday’s (12.03) training program started with a warm-up, followed by possession games, and then tactical exercises, while in the last part there was a friendly match played out.
Giannis Michailidis worked on the pitch, while Joan Sastre and William Troost-Ekong did some physiotherapy and a program in the gym.
On Wednesday (13.03) PAOK will train at 17:30 in Nea Mesimvria, with the session open for 15 minutes for media representatives. Earlier, at 12:15, the usual pre-match press conference featuring Razvan Lucescu will be held in the Toumba Stadium press room, with Tomas Kedziora also representing the players.
Dinamo Zagreb will train at the Toumba at 19:00, with the first 15 minutes open to media representatives, while the Croatian team’s press conference will take place at 18:30.
