The PAOK Academy in Eindhoven
George Gourtsas, the technical manager of PAOK Academy’s younger age groups (from Under-7’s to Under-12’s) traveled to Eindhoven in the Netherlands, in the context of training mothods – always an important parameter for the training of our coaches – but also for the exchange of experience and know-how.
The visit to the stadium and training facilities in Eindhoven, at the two-day ECA (European Club Association) meeting, was a constructive one. The PAOK Academy coordinator was updated about the philosophy that governs the Dutch club’s academy, as well as the training methodology they use.
A special mention was made in the two-day seminars and discussions on the scientific approach to operational planning and training rules.
It is worth noting that at the Eindhoven Academy, all scientific data is analyzed and used for research purposes.
