Under-19s defeat Volos 3-0 on final day
PAOK’s Under-19 side wrapped up their commitments for the season with a convincing victory, also giving playing time for some of the youngsters who did not have a key role during the season as they won thanks to three wonderful goals.
PAOK beat Volos 3-0 on Matchday 18, which took place on Saturday afternoon in Souroti, finishing in second place in the championship with 67 points from 26 games. A second place that leads to the UEFA Youth League next season.
The 1-0 for PAOK was scored by Kesidis with a penalty kick in the 31st minute (won by Vyrsokinos), Karagiannidis added a second in the 74th minute to make it 2-0, from an assist by Tsifoutis, and the final goal to make it 3-0 was scored by Kesidis, who grabbed his second of the game from a pass by Tsiotas.
The next and last match of this demanding season for the Under-19 team is the Super League Cup final, which will be held in Heraklion, Crete on May 24, against Olympiacos.
